I first saw you in the sky,
You were a cloud just floating by
Silver-white and bluish-gray
When you took my breath away
I knew you'd come to be my little guy...

    I first saw you from the sky
    I saw the tears fall from your eyes
    And on that Thanksgiving Day
    The year your father passed away
    I came to be your little guy

A kitten perched in heaven high
When I heard about your birth
That you'd come to live on Earth

    That they named me after him
